It sometimes feels like life just won’t slow down. There are spiraling thoughts you can’t step away from. There are feelings of isolation and the overwhelming belief you need to do everything yourself. There are momentous life changes, like graduation, changing careers, or entering into pregnancy or parenthood that seem daunting and leave you questioning yourself. If this sounds like you, you’re not alone.
As a therapist, I view counseling as a way to instill hope. Through the relationship that we build together, as well as effective therapeutic models of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed and mindfulness-based techniques, we can work together to address your stressors and concerns. Counseling is a judgment free space to process thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I’ll walk alongside you to help deepen your personal insight, process stressors and patterns, and learn new skills.
I am passionate about working with clients on pregnancy and postpartum concerns, parenting stressors, anxiety, life transitions, depression and trauma. It's my role to lend a listening ear, provide the tools you need, and walk alongside you throughout this process of growth, self-discovery, and reestablishment of hope. I look forward to working with you!
