Project S.P.E.A.K. is a virtual, therapist-guided mental health program designed for adolescents ages 13–17. The program creates a safe, supportive space where teens can openly discuss mental health, emotions, stress, and life challenges while learning healthy coping strategies and building connection with peers. This program is not traditional therapy. There is no pressure to share, perform, or participate beyond what feels comfortable. Teens are encouraged to show up as they are.
Why Project S.P.E.A.K. Exists
Many teens experience anxiety, emotional overwhelm, academic pressure, and social stress, but lack safe spaces to talk about it. Project S.P.E.A.K. was created to: - Reduce stigma around teen mental health - Increase emotional awareness and coping skills - Provide early intervention and support - Create connection and belonging - Strengthen teens’ ability to express emotions safely
What Teens Will Explore
Sessions are discussion-based and guided by trained mental health professionals. Topics may include: - Mental health and emotional awareness - Coping skills and stress management - Emotional regulation - Social wellness and peer relationships - Self-esteem and identity - Mindfulness and grounding - Communication and boundary-setting Teens may participate verbally, through chat, or simply by listening.

Format: Virtual group sessions via secure telehealth platform Ages: 13–17 Schedule: Weekly 90-minute sessions Day/Time: Tuesdays, 6:00–7:30 PM Group Size: Limited, first-come-first-served Facilitation: Led by trained mental health professionals Approach: CBT-informed, emotional regulation, psychoeducation, and group support
